Hi – hope everyone is doing great, and is having a more profitable November than me so far

With this hand my question is, are you always shoving to iso, or do you ever find a flat, or dare I say it a fold?

Personally, with 30BB I’m always isolating there, I’m not flatting. If someone happens to have jacks or better then it’s bad luck but I’m not flatting 1/3 of my stack in that spot and I’m not folding TT as I don’t believe playing scared is EV+, I’ll rather be the agressor and put AK, AQ type of hands in a though spot for all their chips rather than given them the opportunity to put me in the tough spot.

You say you’re 10 away from the money. In my experience, in this type of tournaments the money just outside the booble is important because it balances your bankroll and thus beeing in the money is important, but the actual prize is quite low and it may drive my decission on whether to open Q9o from the CO or not, but it’ll never drive the way I play premiums. I want to get to where the money is, the final table, and in that situation I’m willing to risk the bad beat of someone waking up with a better premium rather than play it shy, be saved until the bubble burst and then finish 34/48

Yes I would be iso-shoving here. As stated if someone wakes up behind with a better pair unlucky but we can't play scared and worry about the chance of that happening. To ease your mind in this spot a little… If you are opening 1010 8 handed in this spot from 28 bbs are you going to be getting it in most times facing a 3bet? I know I would. So by being ahead of the initial 10 bb shove range (crushing), what happens after the fact isn't your fault aka if you get coolered.
