Hey guys,
Before I opened i knew i would be getting 3B a lot here, especially since I'm not a reg at these stakes, and most regs at these stakes see me as a lower stakes grinder or maybe even fish. Once I saw the 3B I was like ****, I saw that there was over 7K in the pot, and i really felt like I had a bunch of fold equity, so I snap shoved when it was folded back around to me.
I did not consider any other factors such as his 3B sizing, or his stats. That was probably my first mistake, however I felt like I could rep a lot of strength with my action, and he will still have a lot of hands hes folding regardless.
I appreciate any, and all responses. If you want to share what goes through your mind here when your facing the 3B I would love to hear it.
I don't mind your play at all especially with an A blocker. Seems fine. Your expression of others thoughts and reads are very generalized and might be flawed in thinking. The key here is it is the bubble, and people tend to steal more, so your play is fine. A lot of these type plays need to be instinctive and you went with your gut. I don't mind folding either and waiting for more clear cut spots, which in my opinion, are plentiful at this stage of tournies.
