Hi all.

Recently got in to a spot in a highroller tournament (1.5k$) where a friend of mine critisesed my play.

Here's the hand.

…..om/3557632

1. My friend/colleague  claims that its cold to even open 66 @ this spot with 23 bigs. I obv disagree. It's almost the bubble(2 away). CO doesn't 3b empty unless in blinds, HJ that does 3b me is altough a pretty ok player that have been 3betting pretty frequently. I dont mind throwing my hand away vs co & blind 3b and obv snaps it vs bu.

2. When opened and FI 3b I think it's borderline between jamming it in or folding. Since it's the bubble he's gonna 3b me alot with different ranges and fold a lot VS a push and therefor its a pretty clear push imo. He can't call with to wide of a range since then we will switch position.

So just to get some new fresh thoughts:

1. Muck or raise 66?                                        IMO clear raise obv.

2. When facing 3b, 4b jam?                            IMO 4b jam considering the spot(stacks, bubble, oppenent)

depending on the table opening is fine. if there's a lot of 3betting going on then i'd just open fold.

your 4bet is spew imo. unless you've seen this guy 3b/fold with 23BB effective then i highly doubt you have any fold equity and we're certainly way behind his value range.

ty for opinions..

Altough I agree this isn't a regular jam in this perticular scenario I think you have to consider it a bit more.

A, We know that villain is a decent ok reg who will try to take advantage of the bubble approaching and therefor I actually got a large amount of foldeq. He still have to call 22k and I don't expect him(pretty unknown nick for him) to expect me reshipping it extremely light in a HR close to bubble.

B, We don't want to fold itm, we want to win it.

So for me I stand with my decision to shipp.

Please keep it coming guys! smile
