Hey Hey

no reads.

i’m not too sure what v range of hands are when they bet turn , thoughts on the river?  what do you think the top of v range is otr? do we check back river or shove? i’m not to sure if v will call with worse if we shove , i find that unlikely imo.

Cheers.

Bet the flop. Raise the turn. Why are checking or shoving river the only options you’re considering? Often, if you find yourself saying “I think I have the best hand but I don’t know what will call me,” betting small is the way to go.

@foucault ,

The reason why i checked back flop was because we are beaten by hands like AA/KK/JJ and QJs and its fair to say that could be in V 3-bet range, Though so could KJs//KQs/JTs/ATs/AJs/KTs(maybe with diamonds) and so many weak hands which have decent equity like T9s. I do agree that betting flop is good , i now realize that , as there’s much value to be gained.

I’m assuming if we raise turn and v shoves we are calling? what do you think the top of v range will will be if they did shove turn?

As for why shoving or checking was the only option otr its because i was thining that if we b/f we may of had decent odds to call the chk/shv by v? otr the pot is like $10,000 and hero has like 12k behind, which leaves just over a pot size shove. I guess my thinking is incorrect then , we could bet say 4500 to get value weaker/marginal hands /AA that could be in v range.

what is the top of v range when they check river though? do u think they’ll ever check JJ here? or maybe 66? or a flush..if you were v would bet your flush/FH here to get value from maybe trips or other hands which could be in their range?

i was just thinking that they may check their monsters here a bunch otr.
