hey

reads –  V is a fish, This is the same opponent in my previous H/H which i posted which was the A6o hand.

Such a gross spot to be in , i mean v could easily have flushes in their range even when they’ve checked back turn , i cant discount it but at the same time they could be bluffing with 5x otr? though if they were going to bluff it would of been very likely they would have done it on the turn.

I’m not sure if you have noticed but in my previous H/H they bet 1/2 pot otr , but in this hand they made it bigger like 2/3 of the pot , could that be a sizing tell? so basically when they bet 1/2 pot its with their weak hands and with their bigger sizing its with their stronger hands?

anyhow , do you call here or fold?

cheers

I think you’re over-complicating things. Villain’s calling range versus the flop raise includes almost no hands that don’t have a high diamond in them, especially given that their button limping range includes very few 5x hands. They also don’t have many sets or 2pair combos that could be betting for thin value on river since they would likely get those in on flop, and it’s a weird board for someone to have 2pair. You also have blockers to the kinds of hands villain might consider weak enough on the river to turn into a bluff.

On the turn, it’s likely villain could have checked back a hand like AxJd or KdQx, in the knowledge that your range contains a lot of hands that were strong on the flop but are now scared of the flush card. They could also have checked back the Ad for the same reason.

Ultimately, on the river you have a bluff-catcher. While it’s tough to see villain having that many value hands, the Jd/Qd/Kd are all possible candidates since your range is so capped, and there are very few bluffs in there. I think it’s a reasonably comfortable fold, and you don’t have to worry too much about having enough calling hands here since you have (comparatively) a lot of combos of flopped J high and Q high flushes (maybe even some King high ones or slowplayed nut flushes) that will be okay calling river in a spot where villain could even be valuebetting Jd.

Very simple fold with the low flush. You raised the flop he called, he has it when he bets out strong on this horrible board run out. Yes you had a straight on the flop but that is 10th nuts now and your awesome looking straight flush draw turned baby flush is now the 9th nuts…he called a big raise and bets strong on river so hes got it. As far as any potential bluffs in his range, I think he is awful if he has any…He is just shoving the flop with all sets and any big pair that has no diamonds, he is never flatting those and turning them into bluffs here. He is also never flatting total air on the flop.
