14bb shove in HJ with 10-8o ITM - correct shove?

Correct shove here with 14bbs in the Hijack? If I get the shove through I pick up 2100 which is about 20% of my stack.

I used the TPE_Calc Spreadsheet and this is how your hand fairs against 5%, 10% and 15% calling ranges:

vs 5% (99+,AQ+) you have 26.58% equity

+774 chips

Vs 10% (22+,AJo+,AQs+,KQs) you have 34.3% equity

+333 chips

Vs 15% (22+,A9o+,A2s+,KQ+) you have 35.23% equity

-240 chips

If the players behind you are all calling tight then I think this is a shove, but if they're a bit looser then I think it's a fold. It's marginal at best though. Overall I think I fold here. T8s has a tiny bit more equity against opponents' calling ranges so I would probably shove that in this spot.

That is one of the biggest leaks in my game (shoving when it folds to me with 10-15 bb's and I always run into a big hand..ugh) I wonder how low you let yourself get / how many bb's you should have before you are in definite “I'm shoving if it gets to me” range. I just have such a hard time letting myself get a little low. I always shove and then I look back on it and say damn, I had almost 15bb's there and it was not necessary to open shove. It's something I have to try and work on. I just hate getting to 10bb's and below but to be honest, i'm usually open shoving before I get to that point and it has gotten me nowhere…New Years Resolution – Don't open shove until you get to 10bb's or less LOL
