Is this line OK? What would be better?
I thought that my range mises this flop a lot, and he could easily re-raise a draw or lower PP thinking I missed.
A bit of history with the villain. We got HU in a satilite earlier today, he has a 3-1 chip lead going into HU play, I started pretyy agg, and he just fought my fire with more fire and got even laggier, so i started playing very passive, and ended up winning.
He is a bit of a monkey who can tilt pretty easily, and hes down money on sharkscope but I dont remember how much.
I have him running (144 hands) | VPIP 29 / PFR 22 / EP open 14 / MP 20 / LP / 33 / 3B 10 / Fold 2 3B 29 / Flop CB 100 / Flop call CB 11 / PostFlop AGG factor 21 |
Problem I have with this line man is you are calling off for your tourney life here instead of raising for your tourney life. If you are calling off you should know you are ahead. You started the hand with over 30bbs…that is a great stack at a high blind level. Not something I wanna lose in a marginal spot.
You have close to half your stack committed once you c-bet this flop, so in my opinion it does not look like your folding. So for him to put you in when you look like your not folding, means hes strong enough that hes ok with a call.
