No stats on myself or opponent as it's PKR, I had raised about 25% of hands in the last 3-4 rotations, but villain had been fairly passive earlier when I limped into his BB and then bet the flop. Only hand I'd seen him show down was a 2.5x UTG raise which I called from the BB with A6s, he pot bet the flop of K 8 2 which I folded to and he showed me K8 suited. I've been doing an OK job of getting into the money of late and have had a few top 10 finishes on PKR in the last month or so, no great shakes but I'd been watching bigdogs Sunday run with the aim of trying to ramp up the aggression with a big stack and not be afraid of other big stacks at the table. Trying to decide if I lost the plot on the aggression front or if this line was OK against another big stack while both playing from the blinds. Cheers!

Definitely not too aggressive, is that what you were asking? It seems betting pot is his standard play, and you have a good hand to bluff-catch. By the turn there are a lot of draws in his range, so I don't really think folding the turn is called for. I play it the same way you did.

I think I had a couple of alternatives which might have been preferable. I could have 4 bet to 6k preflop and hoped for a fold – I’m not a fan of being SB vs BB in a bloated pot. But played as is I think after calling his flop bet if I check call his turn bet I’m flipping versus his value and bluff range. I could have led out for a third of the pot on the turn, if he shoves I can prob fold and if he calls I can check fold or bluff shove the river when the 4th diamond hits. I guess I was hoping he would slow down on the turn but after pot betting the flop that was probably optimistic.
