The Villain was running 12/9 i think, maybe 12/10.  I have a large sample on him as he is a reg.  I really don't like this spot.  I had the mouse on the fold button, but QQ is a tough fold.  There are times where I have folded in spots like this.  Are most people folding here?

I doubt I ever fold here in early stages of the $12 180 mans, mostly considering it's a turbo.  Also given the fact that your 3 bet is rather small, I think you have to go with it.  Ya it feels dirty when he rolls over AA or KK but I'm not in the game of folding QQ preflop in turbo 180s when we need to accumulate chips.

I should also add that with 30bbs I'm never 3 betting an utg open with strong hand that I'd fold to a 4 bet jam.

never folding QQ in that spot the structure of the tourney just doesnt allow for it. there  desinged for heavy volume for those plays inparticular you got coolerd that time but so often your crushing his range. ul

I am gonna have to agree because most of the time it will be something like AK,AQ, AND JJ in those spots. With that being said you said he was a reg so there is no way he is doing that with anything less than that so a fold would not be bad. Try and wait for better spot. A unknown im getting it in. jshilling09 you da man.

There's only a few players in the 12 180 that I'm folding that to, zebkiwi being one of them.  I've played alot against him, your going to be behind most times, not to say I haven't made that call against him.

Agreed, I really didn't even want to call, I don't know why I did, guess I was hoping for AK, but the minraise UTG rules that out I believe.  I have history with him as well, and I don't think calling here is correct.  That being said if he opened for more UTG then I may feel better about it, it just feels so much like aces, and his four bet range is AA, KK and maybe AK here, I doubt this is ever jacks, and it's 100% never AQ here, he folds AQ UTG, and if he opens, he folds AQ to a 3 bet 100%.  So I guess if JJ is in his range then I may have enough equity for the call, but I don't think his range is ever wider than AA-JJ and AK.

if you don't want to call a 4bet you shouldn't be 3betting imo
