Very good reg on button, who has been nitting it up but is certainly competent enough to be shipping ATC here.

I snap this all day. I'd say I'm calling with K5s+ especially since button is competent and shipping ATC on the button all day. Would really consider Q10o+ though.

Well I couldn't get it in quick enough, especially against this villain who has history of owning me recently. My range was even wider than the two above, encompassing full top 50% of hands, since there is lots of dead money in here and I am second to last in chips.

He showed up with K9o and hit his K, leaving me with 2 BBs. I still won a seat, with a bit of luck, bigstacks folding the blinds to 4BB shoves, and bigstacks going into allin wars against each other with subpremium hands.

This left me realizing my original calling range was probably too wide. I should be opening really wide and calling pretty tight here huh?

Yes, would def way tighten up that calling range in a satty and open up your shoving range here quite a bit.  Satty's are difficult because you never know what kind of player you are going to encounter.  Some players have zero idea what they are supposed to be doing and some play satty's perfectly.
