Was moved to a new table, like 3rd hand there, opponent(have some hands from before) has been 25/20, 3b 6%(once from the co, once from the btn and twice in the sb, so probably plays more agressively from late positsions, steals 69%) over 156 hands. I am quite aggressive 24/20 3b 8%, fold to 3b% quite low( in this tournament over 193 hands.

If I fold here, I am still left with 29bb and will most likely cash for atleast a min of 71$, would you take the same line as me here, or would you fold/flat, 4bet?

I shove this all day villain is wide enough here for us to be good a fair percentage of the time

I think shoving here is fine.. Could also 4-bet to something like 9k and fold to a shove. I think we are ahead enough here to make shoving profitable.

That being said.. his three bet sizing seems kinda monsterish to me, which is really the only reason I mention 4-bet/folding to a 5 bet.

EDIT: After thinking about it a little longer.. I think I lean more towards the 4-bet line / fold to a shove line. Leaves us with plenty of chips and I don’t see this villain 5-betting with much we are happy to see him turn over. So essentially our 4-bet tells us exactly what a shove does, except we are still in the tourney when he shows up with a monster.

I don’t like 4b at all… I think pure set mine here… Calling keeps his range wide if he’s stealing pretty wide. We’d still have 25bbs… OOP makes it a bit tougher to play for sure, but I still like the flat.
