the flat is kinda concerning but i have no hands/notes on him , he was just moved to the table. UTG is LAG with 39/24 stats over 42 hands , all post rebuy period. Also hovered over the stats and his EP/MP raise % is higher than LP so i assume he likes to steal UTG. Also he has been making it 3x over the sample so that's not really something that scares me , and if anything makes it more a reason to ship since more $$.

what kinda range should we squeeze here? just value hands or do we have fold equity making a lightish squeeze ok?

Definitely not without a read on table. New guy at table probably flatted 88-JJ range or AQ if he's competant and just isn't sure how UTG is playing. Although, I could definitely see squeezing AT+ or 77+ maybe even 55 or 66 just incase you get called and your up against 2 overs fora  60/40 but A5s is a fold.

cool. i made the shove but felt it was bad before i even got called.

ep opener obv snap folded , and im guessing this is std to shove without flatter in the mix , or no?

what kinda read would we want on flatter to make plays like this? that he's flatting way to much with this stack? a loose/high vpip , but passive preflop type guy/stats?

was pretty tilted when i made the play from getting stuck in sngs a bunch , and was just playing too long trying to chase loses.

If your running a hud I usually ship A5s there on aggro oppenents with flatters behind that are like 30-40vip and expect them to fold 80% of the time to be effective. If your not using a hud its just off how much you think they are limping but just be careful because your mind plays tricks on you in poker. You might think they are limping a lot but there vip is only 15-20 which is still bad shove.

With the flatter being new to the table I would fold here. If he had been at the table a while and new the OR was loose then im most likely sticking it in, im reshipping on the OR too if it folded to me

yeah the flatter is going to make me really tighten my shipping range here. in general, with his stack, i veiw that flat as pretty strong and don't expect him to fold many pairs or better Ax, which i think make up a large portion of his range.

had he not flatted i'd be high-fiving my monitor and re-wagering my stack.
