$11 (Rush, Rebuy) $8500 guarantee on Full Tilt

About 66 players left, 27 get paid, so not quite near the bubble. Anyway, it folds all the way to me with KQo on the button, so I raise. The big blind has the biggest stack in the tournament. I know 100% that I'm going to get called by the BB because I know they're a calling station (from what I'd seen earlier on in the tournament). I swear they've seen every flop and are just busting people out with hands that no one would normally play. Bascially, I have a sick feeling about going into the pot with this person.

I'll put the result in a bit, but check out the hand. Did I take the right line? What should I do on the river?

I think cbetting this board is a mistake. It is very coordinated and draw heavy, of which BBs range hits alot. I prefer going for delayed cbet here if he checks turn and if he calls, checking behind on the river.

As played I think he isnt folding pretty much anything that has floated 2 streets here. Check behind river and hope you got some showdown value when he has missed his straight draw.

EDIT: Just read about the villain being a calling station. Wait for a value hand and go to value town on him. You are sure to be paid. You shouldnt be trying to bluff these types of opponents.

Can’t sum it up better than Kalculator did great answer!!! Don’t ever Cbet that flop vs this type of player. Delayed Cbet is much more effective when paint hits the turn.

That makes so much sense, I think I need to learn to check behind on the button instead of cbetting every flop in position.

As it turns out, (highlight –>) he had A6o, no hearts.
