This would have been a home game MTT on PS, but only 2 players
registered, so it became a HU battle (however late reg was open I
guess).

I know Villain from live play, he is not too tight and not a gambler
either (unlike most live players we play with). He knows me as a tight
player.

This is the 13th hand, I took small lead with KK, where he called me 2
streets OOP with his gutshot. In the other hands the actual button 3x-ed
and took it down, except in 1 or 2 hand where he 3betted me ad he took
it down.

Pre: I call because I have position post and only 180 chips.

OTF: He bets rather small and I call with my 2nd pair

OTT: He bets rather small again (comparing to the pot), so I call with the 2nd FD

Do you agree or did I overplay this?

PokerStars – $10+$1|15/30 NL (9 max) – Holdem – 2 players

BB: 4,660.00

Hero raises to 90.00, BB raises to 270.00, Hero calls 180.00

Flop: (540.00, 2 players) 3 T 7
BB bets 216.00, Hero calls 216.00

Turn: (972.00, 2 players) 2
BB bets 388.00, Hero calls 388.00

Turn looks like complete value from him but I dont blame you for calling given the board. What about a small raise on that turn since your hand has pretty good equity at this point?

Does not turn that our hand into a bluff? I mean he will fold all his hands which are worse and call (reraise) with better ones.

Hmm. You might have a point. I am thinking more on the line that he looks like he is value betting, we are not sure if our 7 is good, and that turn card is a great scare card to raise and just take it down. You could have the best hand but we dont know that, raising him gives you info on his hand.

If the river is not a club card do you think you are calling another bet? It would be a guessing game on the river.
