This is from a $10+1 $3000 guarantee on Bovada.  I think the villain had just come to our table and was the table chip leader.  No one at the table was short stacked at this point.  The hand history on the tournament isn't available yet, but i thought i'd type this up while i was waiting on a few tournaments to start up.  Hopefully the format isn't too terrible.

Blinds:  75/150

Hero:  Hijack QJcc 5655(37.7BB)

Villain: CO 17750(118.3BB)

Action is folded to hero who raises to 350.

Villain calls 350.  SB calls 275.

Pot: 1200  Flop:  4d 9s 10c

Hero bets 550.  Villain raises 1450.  SB folds.  Hero calls 900.

Pot: 4100 Turn: 7c

What is hero's best action now?

Also, would it be better to check/call the flop?

check/call turn to any decent sizing, we have too much equity and good implied odds. cbetting the flop is fine.

3800 left in stack.. I'm shoving river.  Got equity against all the hands he'd reraise flop for value with.  You're gonna have better than 2:1 on a call (Against 44,77,99,1010,JJ, 910, A10, J10) We have 35% equity.  And I don't have any bluffs in there.  Maybe he reraises some AQ hands etc…

Didnt realise our stack left. We have left than a pot size bet so we can jam the turn after we call the flop to put villain in a rough spot if he has some semi-bluffs. It would be a better option then letting villain force the action and having to call off.
