A pretty boring hand really, this is the first hand at the table for the villain so no reads at all. Just wondering whether my bet sizing on the flop is too small, whether I should have fired again on the turn and whether I should have folded the river. Thoughts..?

My thinking was that once my cbet was called I could get it down to showdown relatively cheaply if I was beat and pick up value off the hands that I was beating that would fold to any further bets. But looking at it on the river, what am I beating really? A10, A7 and missed flush draws, maybe 10 9 or something like that.

It fine played..u could fire the turn as the 8 is more then likely a brick. Instead of giving a free card..but the 8 also opens up 67 n j10 to jam on u…fine as played imo…my tip  ..AJo is a fold early stage in utg spots. it plays shitty when your called by later positions, ecspecially in looser stationy rooms.. Raise 67s instead. Jace points it out in his vids..muck it…open it mp1 mp2+ bro.. GL

Cheers lads, I appreciate the advice. It was a very loose table as well so that makes your suggestions even more worthwhile.

Just to bring this fairly uneventful thread to it's conclusion.

The villain had A4 no spades, which was a bit of a kick in the balls! laugh

haha didn't expect him to have A4 here but A4 of spades def makes sense.  Like everyone else said I'd just fold the AJo preflop makes your later decisions much easier.
