Villain was playing 27/9 over 65 hands and e few hands earlier he doubled opening aces utg, he got flatted in mp and bet 2xpot on 9 high and after being called he shoved pot ai on 9523.

So I have TT in sb and only utg limper entered the pot. TT looks too strong to just complete here so I made it 5x to go. Perhaps 3.5-4x was better not to bloat the pot too big playing oop. Flop comes K high w a FD and i cbet 1/2 pot and villain calls. How should I continue?

This is definitely a tought spot here….utg limpers always seem to confuse me because so many people in the lower stakes like to limp with their big hands pre.  I personally think that with your stack size and the villains image I would of probably preferred to just complete and see if  I hit my set or as well as not swell the pot pre.  I don't think iso raising is bad either but I think you definitely need a plan post on how you are going to play it bc of how frequently an over card will hit the flop.  As you also mentioned I would not of made it that large.

With the flop that fell it is a relative dry flop and there are only so many combinations the villain is going to have in their holdings.  From what you described when he played his aces he appears to play his big hands fast and will overbet with them.  I think you have to c bet here, but you can almost do it without betting so much.  Even leadin 1/3 pot you will be able to get the same information imo.  You are representing a big hand and my c betting say 10-12k you really look like you are hoping he tools out on you and raises.  If you get raised you are probably beat and you have saved some chips.  If he elects to call, he propbably has a middle pair, a weaker King, or a suited broadway hand of some sort.  I think he is raising you with his sets as well as with a/k.  The turn is harmless imo and depending on how the villain reacted to your c bet, a double barrel will be in order.  If he calls again without raising it agains tightens his range.  He will definitely raise on the turn with a monster or he may call to get to sd.  If he has the tendancy to float a lot of c bets he may very well shut it down on the turn.  When making the turn bet I am always telling myself to be prepared to empty the clip with a jam depending on the river card.  If the villain calls your turn bet you can also elect to c/c the river or put out a blocker/value bet to see how the villain responds.  This of course depends on your reads because when the turn card fell you are either way ahead or way behind.

I think though again that the hand started pre and position is everything.  With your stack size I would elect to just flat look to hit my 10 and go from there.  I just try not to play hands oop that are going to give me trouble. Depending on the texture of the flop at that point I am trying to out play my opponent and get to showdown while controling the size of the pot.  Sorry for the long response.  Best of luck at the tables.

imo the raise pre is much to big, i would do 3x, so the pots not getting to big. and so 2 barrelling would be a lil cheaper and an option

played like you did i would not 2 barrell, i would just check and hope for a check back

btw such a big raise pre in the blinds with only 1 guy in the hand also shows weakness. with that bet your opponent could easily assume that you are not holding a premium

as noted raise is too large….. all i got really. im really stumped!! hate these type spots. theyre really difficult to play. sucks to lead flop and chk fold turn…. but its the only really smart line we have unless we know villiain is floating and betting when chkd to on turn.  double barrelling almost seems as a must. flop is dry and turn is non factor. double barrelling sucks because that only folds hands we beat that we want value from. chking turn allows villian to bet two streets and we havent a clue where we are. this is a really read dependant spot. without solid reads here i may be inclined to shut down after cbet.

Well you already know you bet way too big so I am not gonna beat that to death. However, bets like that is like playing your hand face-up in my opinion. Dont give away that info and dont bleed chips like that.

I like a check/raise on the flop here. It will really let you know where you are at. As played, the turn is a good card so I like check/raise rather than a lead because we know he is gonna flat if you lead again.

well, I c/c a 1/2potbet and c/f to his riverbet when the flush completed. Don't think villain was bluffing but very unhappy how I played the hand.

C/r the turn would nearly commit me costing me at least half my stack if I'd minraise him. I def went wrong with my sizing here, although were 50bb eff deep I lost over half my stack in this hand.

Now I know, I'll try and apply pot control next time I'm in a simular situation.

Thats just the thing though. As played, u have already committed a lot of chips. You can not shy now that there is one overcard on the board. I am playing this hand strong and not folding, that is why I check/raise. There are so many rivers he can try and represent, we do not wanna see a river here.
