This hand was from a couple weeks ago, and I didn't have a HUD at the time. But I played with the sb and bb for the last hour of so of the tourney and I feel like ballpark estimates would be SB is running 9/4. BB is prolly running around 30/8.
Because table has been fairly loose, I'd say this is only the 2nd or 3rd time I'd been able to open from the button and I hadn't been noticeable aggro lately. No postflop history with BB.
How often should we be cbetting this flop? As played, on the turn we're getting good immediate odds to flat, but it feels blah, thoughts on shoving? Also any thoughts on the possibility of successfully bluffing the river as played? I feel like our hand has close to zero showdown value but I'm not sure how much of his range is folding to a river bet b/c our line looks so weak.

steal is fine

on the flop i think checking is ok because you have a decent amount of equity with your backdoor draw and 5 outer.

on the turn, i think calling is ok

river is interesting. what does BB fire turn with and then check river? pretty much all draws got there and all of those would be value betting, so i doubt its that. and i think someone with a T would be leading flop.

the only hands that make sense are monster hands that were trying to check raise the flop, like 9T or even 99, then they bet the turn for value, then the board got real scary. other than that, i cant see any sort of decent hand here, it looks to me like BB has air and was just taking a stab after everyone checked flop, so i would fire this river a bunch of the time.

Flop: I cbet 50% pot here 100% of time. I think its a +ev bet considering the table dynamics you mentioned. I'm assuming this is final table so the sb is going to be nitty and fld a ton. the bb has a wide range and I think we can count on him folding at least half the time also considering this your first time going after him.

Turn: I like the call. we have the draw and your 3 can still possibly be good.

River: I wouldn't fire the river here. Our 3 has some showdown value against k or q heart hands the villan (If we think he's 30/8)

Yea, interesting what he would do this with – maybe K9 w/ the K of hearts as well?
