OK TPE'ers for those of you who are unaware we have run a very successful TPE Down Under competition and are currently sending two members off to the Aussie Millions (Event 1), with others to follow… see the TPE Down Under threads for more info….

Anyway it go me thinking (through conversations with the TPE DU crew) that we should go global!

Here's the idea, we follow the same model as the current TPE DU Comp, but include other international groups.  If some of the international members start a league of their own, preferably consisting of 10 members and run the same game structure, be it on Stars or Merge, and we combine the leaderboard we may be able to garner enough $ to send someone to a WSOP ME (Vegas, Australia, Europe). This will also, no doubt, turn into a International Battle of Origin!

The ideal scenario will invlove 10 groups of 10 players with each member paying $100 to play (TxT).  The cycle should run over at least three games and the best average score takes the chocolates, owns 50% of their buyin, with the remaining 50% spread across the other players in proportion to their average score.

All money would need to be collected before any cards are dealt, and held by a trustworthy member.  I'm happy to act as treasurer, however, some may be more comfortable if KB or RFB to took charge…. Perhaps the TPE Pro's can add some incentive, coaching, apparel, membership, etc….)
