Surely most of you have heard about how awesome these games are! The next cycle will kick off on 6NOV 19:30 ACST, $5 buyin, 5K starting stack, 10 min levels….. and will run over 8 weeks.

The format, however, has changed slightly. To avoid paying excess rake the game buyin has been reduced from $30 to $5, but players will be required to pay an entry fee that will constitute the prize-pool.  So, if we have 10 committed players, each will have to pay $110 to compete, in order to amass a prize-pool of $1.1K… Clearly the entry fee becomes cheaper if we get more runners.

Top 6 results count, and if you miss a game you'll be awarded last place points.  Points will be allocated as follows (Stars system with the buyin and field size kept constant):

Place Points
1 31.0
2 21.9
3 17.9
4 15.5
5 13.9
6 12.7
7 11.7
8 11.0
9 10.3
10 9.8

The $5 tourney entry is just to add a bit of spice to the game to ensure the top placings get some cheese for their effort!

It'll be the same deal for the Cycle champion – 50% ownership of a $1.1K live entry of their choice and the remaining 50% allocated to the rest of the players relative to their score.

A new HomeGame Lobby “Exclusive Edge” has been set-up for this so let me know if your keen and I'll provide the invitation code and payment details.  The reason we've set up a parallel lobby is so we can have a dedicated players (pre-paid) cycle seprated from our other casual lobby where will have 'one-off tournies!' like the $10 8-game tourney scheduled for next week!

So, for those who are interested…. sign-up, you want regret it! Also be sure to sign up to our Skype chat group, 'cause all our games are played whilst on a conference call!

i love this idea and i would definetly be in if the starting time is not too odd for me in europe. it would be great if these tourneys would be somehow compatible with the regular sunday grind schedule!

Donskey prevailed the tedious 8-game marathon… A 5hr headfuck punctuated with comments like “is Ace high or low… Or both?”, “I don’t even know what I was representing there”, and “oh shit! We just changed from 2-7 to stud draw and I just folded the nuts!”… Anyway ’twas an experience.

Now back to business…. We’ve 7 committed players for the pre-paid ‘exclusive’ cycle. If you want in I suggest you contact me for the invitation code. I’ll provide payment instructions by this Sunday.

Get motivated!

Good work mate, start a Euro team… It only takes 1 or 2 games to generate some interest and momentum. Persevere! There will be scope in the future to amalgamate the points at least and chase a collective $10k WSOP ME buyin!

Totally, I would be in on that too… buuut the APAC main event is expected to be like $10-12k buy in, so it probably won't be for that one…

Hi all,
Given the festive season is upon us and our social engagements are coming in thick and fast it is sensible to put our Cycle 4 comp on hold until the new year. The regular tournies will still be scheduled for those who want to play, but NO championship points will be awarded. Our next bona fide tourney will be on tues 8th Jan 2013… Merry Christmas etc…

hey. the games are at 730 ACDST (australian central daylight savings time) which works out to 0900UTC or 0400 ET.

new games dont start until the new year, but in the meantime, either post your skype name here, or add myself (bennymacca6) and cousteer (cousteer) and we can fill you in on everything.

Cycle IV restarts this Tuesday 7th usual time! I think it’s game 6…

For all those who want to participate in the next cycle, sign up! Cycle V will most likely start early Feb in preparation for WSOP Australia!!!!!

Also FYI Duggs will be repping our TPE DU Crew in Event 1 of Aussie Millions…. If you are going, be sure to rail him… Run good mate!

Bennymacca successfully contributed to our respective bankrolls with his 3rd in the the Adelaide Casino Championship…. Demonstrating the flow-on success of these home games!

Ok Duggs, sorry I didn’t contact you sooner… Here’s some options that we can discuss during tonight’s clash…
Scenario 1- Duggs only fires one bullet
Options i- return overlay to members
ii- keep overlay and adjust %s
iii- use overlay for online Sunday majors with relative %s
Scenario 2- Duggs fires two bullets
Options i- recalculate %s with Duggs’ top up.
ii – buy more % to top up underlay (optional pledge)

We should agree on an option for each scenario.
I’d be happy with option 1-iii and 2-ii.

Looking forward to tonight’s game and supporting Duggs in his live foray!

We've wrapped up Cycle IV and congratulations to Dalez who managed to out-last a barnstorming Bennymacca to secure the $1.1K… well done mate! He's yet to decide what live event he'll participate in, but will let us know in due course.

We've had a few people wanting to join Cycle V which will kick off Feb 5th, i'll start another thread with the details.

Thanks everyone for another successful series.

Heres the breakdown for cycle IV:

Player Games Score* Rank %Share
cousteer 8 88.49 7 6.93
Bennyjammer 8 124.34 2 9.74
Donskey 8 121.28 3 9.50
Boonos78 8 109.40 4 8.57
mcgcork 8 101.87 5 7.98
Clydesdalez 8 132.60 1 50.00
sirduggan13 8 92.88 6 7.28
