Fifty member limit wouldn't work for the league. We had 69 total participants in the first cycle. And here's hoping we'll have more in the next.

that could be the issue. There is a new tab for home games.

A small group of us signed up last week. We played two nights this past week. It was nice playing with those that you are familiar with. We ran on $2.20 NL game and then one $1.10 other type (HORSE, 5 Card Draw, etc.) just to keep it interesting and let us work on our other games in a somewhat non-threatening arena. It is very good for that.
Overall, I believe the variance factor is turned way up on these home games. As if it wasn't turned up high enough already. Seemed like lots of 3-of-a-kinds getting beat by better 3-of-a-kinds, full houses getting beat by better full houses, etc.. I know this happens but it really seemed to be happening a lot those two nights.
Still, it's worth it to play with your friends for those small stakes. Lots of chatting going on. I would recommend it – just don't overbet as those good hands seldom seemed to hold up, for me anyway, all the way through the river.

I agree…I don't think I can do this until my downswing from hell is over.
Just signed up! Waiting for approval. In the future when they increase the cap above 50, can I put in a request for my wife to join as well? We share the TPE subscription and she would love to get in on some home game action

Home Games is a great idea by Stars. I like to play HU with my mate who's in the UK and it's tough getting on same table normally. Now we set up a small private tourney and off we go – can play for cash now too.
Have applied for the TPE home games – hope I make it in and look foward to some tourneys at Club TPE on Stars.
