Hey guys. I leave for Vegas tomorrow so I thought we definitely need a WSOP thread for the forum. I will update on here as well as Twitter that will link to TPE followers. I am playing the 1k starting on the 5th for sure and maybe the 1.5k after that as well. Mainly will be playing lots of 1-300 daily deepstacks. If those go well then I will play the 1.5k for sure. GLGL to all and I hope all those going post their progress as well.
GLGL Hawkeye!!!!
I played my first WSOP event last year, Event #5 $1.5K NLH….. Not sure if you've played WSOP before, but what a buzz!!! Have a great time, you'll luv it!!!!
Bring your A-Game!!! Play your best!!! My table was pretty soft and that was before I joined TPE, so I'd like to think my game has improved alot since last year
I'll be in Vegas 27th June – 22 July…. Heading over from Australia, so hope to catch up with the TPE Nation @ some point.
Hey guys just wanted to let you know that HITTHEPANDA and Hagbard have teamed up for a live MTT theory vid. If you're heading over to the WSOP or Venetian Deepstack this year you should definitely chekc it out
I will be going out to Vegas June 7-11. I am planning to play in the Venetian Deepstack event on the 7th($340). Depending on how that goes, I may try the tourneys at Ceasars or WSOP non bracelet events or sngs before the bootcamp on Friday. Good luck to all, and I look forward to meeting many of you on the 10th! If anyone is planning on playing at the Venetian tuesday shoot me a pm.
Thanks for the support TPE nation. It was cool getting deep in that tourney but of course disappointing getting a small payday compared to the 7.1K first place. I have played two $120 events at Ceasars now and cashed both of them so I am feeling great about my live game. I wanted to start with the lower buy-ins to get some practice before moving to the venetian events. I will be playing at least two Venetian events along with more events at Ceasars plus event 8 of WSOP. This week I am not playing much because my GF is here till Saturday so gotta do vacation stuff till then. Event 8 starts Sunday and then it will be poker nonstop from then on. GLGL to the rest of the TPE guys. Lets ship them all!
Headed back home tomorrow. Had a great time in Vegas playing poker and visiting family.
I ended my trip on a great note by FT'ing a $130 deepstack at Ceasars last night and chopping it 6 ways for 3.7K each. In all, I played 4 Ceasars deepstacks and cashed 3 of them- I played only one Venetian and bricked it- and played the 1K at WSOP and bricked that. So 6 tournies, 3 cashes, and one FT.
I definitely did not play as much as I wanted. This was because I was out here visiting my sister, plus my fiance was here for 5 of the days. Next year I definitely plan on putting in more volume and focusing on the deepstack series that play here during the WSOP season. I am proud of the results I had and definitely feel like my live game is coming around nicely. Thanks for all the support on twitter and in the chat room.
GLGL to the TPE nation that will be playing here for the next month or so. I know you guys are gonna ship a bracelet!

Hey hawkeyeK9, how would you rate the Ceasars tourney structure and the standard of players?
There tourney structure was pretty decent. Start with 15K in chips and for the bigger buy-ins 20K. The blinds went up every 30min. I found that the players were soft so even when blinds seemed to be going fast there were plenty of opportunities to stay at a comfortable chip stack. I enjoyed them.
