I live approx. 1 1/2 hours from some casino boats in Kentucky US. I am looking for some live poker tourneys. Last year the WSOP circuit was at the Horseshoe Southern Indiana and the Hooluwood I Indiana had the WPT. Both are not running them this year. I want to play some pretty good tourneys with solid structures with decent pay outs out side of normal donkaments.
What sites could I go to that will easily assist me in finding these sort of tourneys close to me?

hmm, there are a couple of sites that list all the casinos weekly donkaments. but for bigger national tournaments with better structures, it's pretty much going to be WSOP, WPT or Heartland Poker Tour.
So I would pretty much stick to their websites and see what is coming around.
I'd still would like ot know which are good sites to look for tourneys more in the $100 to $500 range,
Also if somebody knows where to find CASH games in casinos or professional poker rooms (i.e. the commerce etc…not home games) globally I would apreciate it. I travel internationally a lot and tend to have windows to play but often dont know which are the good/reputable spots. I checked out the hendon mob website poker database but its pretty unreliable/outdated, anyway any info would be great

If you are north of these locations – The Chicago poker classic starts on 2/23 and runs through 3/5. Event is at horseshoe hammond. Similar structure to wsop event they just hosted at this location. Low buy in is $240. First $240 event last year had almost 1,000 runners. Main event is 4 days buy in is $3125 (poker room is giving away 36 free entries into main event with high card promotion.) Main event super satelite day is march 1st with $240 buy in. Nice casino to play in – tournament will be upstairs in venue hall. Two plus two has a thread with more information in MTT live. MTT live is a good thread to reasearch upcoming tournaments.
Just fyi, i did find that the bravo app for ipad iphone is pretty decent for the US casinos using this system! Many of them list their tourneys besides listing what games are going on at the time.
