Anyone ever play in this?  I’m going to be in Vegas from June 11-14.  Plan on playing in at least one event there.

I played one event last year after busting the wsop ME and thought it was an excellent event.

I’ve played a few in the past and they are pretty good events.  Well run, really nice poker room, good staff, etc.

From what I understand they get pretty shallow late in the tournament (Hagbard can probably expand on this) but I’ve never gotten deep enough to find out!  Cool

I’ll be playing a few of these in July when I’m in Vegas.

Just got back from Vegas.  Was only able to play in one deep stack event.  $350 no limit event.  Played from 12 PM to 11:30 PM and got busted out in 68th place.  544 runners and paid the top 54.  Had AK in the cutoff in an unopened pot.  Only had about 11 bbs left, so went ahead and shoved.  BB called and turned over QQ.  It was a good event though.

i played 2 of these and the 340 i punted my stack with about 100 to the money, in the 550 i made a deep run and ran aq from the sb into ak in the bb and was crippled.  took 13th for 2500.  I will probably play a few more.  and it is shallow when it gets to about 5 tables down to 2.  10-20 bb stacks mostly unless you got really lucky and got a monster stack.

They’ve fixed the structures compared to prior years.  Great tournament/great dealers/great staff.

The best in Vegas, imo.

Prolly the best series. I played about 6 of these events, chopped a 350 3 handed for 28k, 3 days later I finished 11th in a 560, and I also mincashed another 350.

As for wsop, only 1 cash in the 1k, but I only played 3 events. Pretty good vegas summer imo, also meet some great people!

oh yah. probaly the best tourneys on the strip. monster start stack and huge fields and you cant beat the structure. the only issue i have ever had is the seating arrangement alot of the tables are in roped off areas just outside the poker room its a high traffic area for pedestrians and you are right next to several slot machines but for the most part great tourneys be sure to add a few to your schedule
