I have a terrible cold right now but if I feel better by the time this weekend gets here I may make the 90 minute drive down to check it out.

I checked out the 2009 series and the $600 deepstack got 240 players and it was on a monday.  From what I heard the two deepstacks are the only ones that got decent turnouts so I decided to go with it.  That borgata tourney looks interesting though.  Do you know how many runners they expect?

I know last night they had a 240 deepstack and they got 266 runners….

I played in last years USPC event i believe it was about 200 runners… I cant decide myself which one to play but the rumors about taj are not that good… and i cant figure out which tourney would be the best value..

I think the borgata will have a bigger turnaround…the structures are pretty much identical i think

Let me know which one u playing..

Yeah i'm really torn now.  I'd probably just go with the borgata but the fact that it starts as 11, while the Taj starts at 12:15 is significant for me because I'm driving down from NY.  The extra time is helpful.  I'm gonna send you a PM so we can coordinate better.

im driving from brooklyn too….

i think maybe give uspc another shot…i heard somehwere they increased their levels by 10 min…so i guess its 50 min levels now and 25k in chips..

as long as it gets 200 runners … not sure myself what to do yet, but leaning towards taj now

Below is the structure of the borgata.  It's 30 min levels for the first four then 40 min levels.  The Taj has the same exact structure but with 40 min levels for the entire time.  I saw a posting on 2+2 that you are referring to I think, where someone says all the blind levels went up 10 mins at the Taj but i'm not sure if that makes they updated the sched on the website and this tourney went from 30 to 40 or if it's now 50.

The borgata ran a $350+50 deepstack on a wed (9/8) and got 950 runners.  You think this will get similar?

i dont think so..

i think in spetmeber it was the borgata poker open…a month long series and it draws much moree runners…

i have no idea how much it will draw tomorrow…i would guess under 300 with the uspc going on at the same time, and you are right 12 pm start soundw much better for taj..
