Just wanted to let folks know, if you didn't get a chance to watch it live last night, keep your eyes open for a replay. The HU match between Galen Hall and Chris Oliver has to be one of the best I have seen in a long while. Galen Hall's methodical analytical style is impressive to watch in action. Being able to watch him think through is impressive. I would love to have been inside Hall's head for the run, would have been so interesting.

I caught the last hour when I returned home from work. The two hands that Hall doubled up on were exciting. Oliver was really on tilt after that. I hope they use that format more in the future.

When did Chris Oliver have a membership on here?  lol.  I guess I need to open more often with 8 2 off & 10 3 off like he did. Where's that instructional video? LOL

A few people have said Daize is a member… KB and RFB said they don't think he is. Crazy rumors.

Daize said he got drunk on dinner break of the FT and came back playing like a nut for TV. Ha. For the most part he played great.

I know everyone says Galen's fold with the 4 was awesome but… seriously what can Daize have there? Galen bets almost pot at the end and Daize shoves over it. He'd been playing a lot of funky hands so all of those boat up, or they are chopping, or somehow Daize has the 6 high straight.

I'm not saying it's the easiest fold in the world but I think Stein and Sowers can make that fold, too.

The guy who donked his way to 3rd would have snap called.

I agree completely on the fold with the straight and I was actually fairly disappointed that Negraenu made the right analysis and then blew it off to harp on how epic he thought the fold was. I think the analysis that the best situation would have been a chop but more likely he was hosed was completely correct. I just really enjoyed watching the two of them battle and I have a lot of respect for Hall's game, not to take anything away from Oliver, but it was nice to see his hot streak fizzle a little. I hate seeing pure luck win and do enjoy some skill triumphing.

I have to admit, I watched the entire thing after busting out of a few late night tourneys.  You can't even compare it to the normal two hours BS we get to see from the Nov WSOP M.E. final.  Especially heads up when the last two years they have shown less then 5 hands head's up.

I loved seeing all the hands and how they were played.  I have played a good amount of live tourneys (all WSOP circuits, WPT, and any big event at Borgata) the last 4 yrs in Atlantic City.  Plus watching any poker that's on TV and that was some interesting stuff watching Chris play the 10/3 off, 8/2 off amoung others.  And seeing everyone react to the hands he showed.

Whether you think Galen's lay down was great or not.  He won that tourney because of that lay down.  Personally, if you gave me 100 chances whether to fold that hand or not, I might fold less then 3 times out of that 100, lol.

With that said, I learn from watching.  I don't think I could ever play those hands that Chris did, but that's why I don't have a live or online cash of more then 2.5k and he won 1.8 million for playing that way.

Hmmmmmmmmm, might have to open up my range some

Yeah that was some of the best MTT poker ever televised.  I stayed up for the whole thing and it was fascinating to watch these great players.

I agree with yeah RFB……….it was really good.  I heard there's a chance we may see more like that on ESPN this year.  Can't wait.

I hope so, I think as a player this was a far superior way to broadcast. I understand it isn’t practical for the entire WSOP but more ways to bring complete action I think would be so much more interesting and valuable.

i think for final tables it could be the way to go. for the WSOP they could have the same coverage that they always have done, and then have a live november nine, that would be great
