So I’ve qualifed for the £140 buyin Moneymaker event and was planning on playing the Newcastle leg on the 2nd November. Can I expect to meet any TPERs there? https://www.aspersnewcastle.co.uk/poker-events-moneymaker-pspc-tour.html

Fingers crossed I can bink the Platinum Pass anyway!

Good luck in the event ScotFish. It’s a bit too far away for me to play, so no chance of a meet up unfortunately. I played in the London Moneymaker event this weekend and had a great time. Met Chris and he was great, had a bit of a chat about how he ruined poker for me because I was playing and doing nicely at limit holdem S&G’s until he won the main event and the games dried up as everyone was suddenly playing no limit yell. Also met and had a good chat with James Hartigan who was very nice and seemed to have time for everyone who wanted to say hello.

As for the game itself I made it to day two, so managed to get a small cash, finishing in 51st place from 468 entries. On the morning of day two I woke up at 6am with a massive head ache, which didn’t fully subside and I ended up playing pretty terribly on day two. But can’t complain too much really as overall it was a great tournament.

Hope you enjoy it and get some run good.
