Going to Vegas in November to do some live tourneys, I will have a budget of around $500 for buyins.  Is there any tournaments that you guys could suggest, I would like to be able to buy-in to at least three.

I have heard good things about the nightly Venetian tourneys and the Aria tourneys.  Think those are pretty much the best ones going, but we'll see if anyone else chimes in here with any suggestions.

I think the 7pm Caesar's tournament is the best value at that time of night.

I was at the Aria a few months ago and enjoyed their 7pm game.  Enjoy yourself and bring it.

I am looking into the Aria tournaments and I was planning on a Caesar as well-I remember RFB talking about them awhile ago. I was thinking of doing one of the Venetians too, I like there stack sizes and levels. Booked my room at Imperial Roach Motel for only $56 for two days, working on Southwest about a previously bad trip to Florida to get the flight free or at least money off. More money for beer, poker and babes!  I will let you guys know what I decide found a good review site about them.

How many players were there when you played and was the payout structure good? What was the level of play like? Will I have to suffer the loose all-in guys early?

GL praetor. I was there when they had all the deepstack series so it was easy to find a good structure with a reasonable buy-in. I did play one 7pm ceasar and I think it was $75 or something with a mediocre structure. I ended up min cashing that one but players were 80/20 with 80% being bad players. Was easy to get value with big hands. If there are deepstack series while you are there I think Ceasars would be the best for your budget because alot of the buy-ins were $120. GLGL

I think the 10pm is $80.  The 7pm was $120 iirc.  30 min levels.  Play was pretty soft but for a nightly the levels and stacks are relatively deep.  The all sucked at shortstacked late play.

Caesars has poker classic going on till Nov 7th.  $100 – $200 buy in range.  Venetian Deep Stack Oct 27th – Nov 22nd.  $150 Big Bounty on variety of dates plus the $340 which might blow your budget plan.

I will be there from the Novemeber 14th-16th, going to do one of the bounties at Venetian for sure. I was looking at the $340 if I can ge more money then I will. Maybe the world will end and Full Tilt will pay be my money and I could do a few more than. LOL
