Hey guys!

New member here at TPE… I live in Winnipeg, MB, Canada.  Married and have 2 kids, little boy Brody and a little girl Adriana.  I'm a daddy first obviously but poker is right behind.  I work for Canada Post carrying mail here in the city and actually found TPE just looking for poker material to listen to while I walk.  4 hours a day walking I might as well get better at poker at the same time right???  Super entertaining podcasts, and there for sure is some good material.  Props to all you guys! (MORE PODCASTS!) lol.  Ohhhh Chirps show is pretty funny too… A different, but good listen as well.

I've been playing poker for a while now.  Dating back to the AP days where I would play $100NL for beer money on the weekends… God I miss those days… The way it used to work is with Neteller, I had a debit card I could use in the ATM here… So after I had a session I could go right to the bank machine minutes later and pull money out… 99% went to booze.  Thanks AP!  Thanks Neteller! My friends and me appreciated the beer money…  Those days are gone.

I've played online irregularly the whole time.  I am now playing micro MTT's not because I can't play a bigger but because I've had ZERO! success online MTTs.  So if I can't beat the micros why would I play bigger???  LET'S HOPE I MOVE UP!  I've had my moments mind you… Went through a phase crushing Party $22 SnG's… A bit of success in 180 man Stars SnG's when they were $3.30 buy ins. Mehhh…  But I'm super frustrated with my game.  I feel like I'm killing the home game live leagues I play in with relative ease and am way above the level of play…. I mean last year in the smaller league I play in, (we play every week, $10 buy in, $10 rebuys for first 5 levels, all the rebuys go to a year end game, so it's basically a $3k+ freeroll we play every Good Friday… So I played roughly 45 weeks and won 16 of them.  Field is avg about 7-8.  Small brag… Sorry guys.  It's all I got! lol  Ohhh and I did ship year end game )  Had success at the casino here as well at the $200NL.. Won a $160 Binions last year, a couple cashes at other smaller tournies around Vegas last year… Shit… My proudest moment is my win at O'Sheas… (Picture to follow)  I spent more tipping for beer than on the tournie buy in I think…  Then I go online and I feel like I'm just mashing buttons.  Anyways… So just a bit frustrated w my online game.

I've watched Brokos Ranging series and learnt so much… Well let me rephrase that… I obviously have a “reasonable” ability to range people, but what the video did is give me a “process” to use to organize my thoughts which makes the thought process so much more manageable.  Along with manageable I think it makes it more effective, and more efficient.  I gotta thank that guy already and I've only been a member for 3 days!  Well done man!  There is a noticeable difference in my play after watching this single series.  Can't wait to watch more of you…  Then I watched Alioto series on his Lock $215 win… Very different, but always fun to hear him talk about his thoughts too. (The guy is super entertaining on the podcasts too.)  I got a lot out of it…

Well I've babbled enough…  Happy to be here… Just looking to get better… Missed Vegas this year but I'll be there for the series in 2014 for 10-14 days and hope I can meet some TPE members and guzzle some drinks…  1 year to build bankroll.  Let's get better together right!!??

Anyways… Cheers!
