its def TLDR, but i figured i'd throw my story out there…

Hey everyone! I just want to start by introducing myself since this is my first post and i'm new to the TPE community. My names Mike, i'm a 23yr old ex-semi pro grinder from the northeast. Black Friday screwed us all in some way or another so i wont get into the details, but since i've had to join the 'Normal' world and get a job doing electrical. Started out in sng's about 5 yrs ago, made some good side money in HS, transitioned to mtt's, did fairly well being a PXF member but didn't have the schedule mtt's demand. Switched to cash and was staked/coached & grinded the micros up to .5/1 then took my own roll onto 6max and made a comfortable living up to 1/2. After BF I tried playing live for awile but couldn't put in enough volume, the boredom from 1 tabling full ring from multitabling 6max killed me mentally. Anywho, bored of cash i'm taking the mtt route once again as i find it much more fun, rewarding and quite simply, i like change. I recently put some $ up on the American friendly sites and have started the grind again, hoping that once online cards come back to NJ, I'll have a roll to grind midstakes mtts. I like to think i have a solid grasp on the game coming from sngs/mtts and cash, but i'm still a little sketchy on some push/fold spots. I'm working on getting SNG wiz again b/c i know its a tourney players gold mine, but in the mean time i'm hoping through studying / making friends here at TPE , i can improve my game a bit in areas i'm unconfident.

Like i said TLDR, but hey, i have a feeling alot of you out there have similar stories, and its always cool to know theres more of us out there =P.
