Hi All –

So after listening to the TPE and Thinking Poker Podcasts for the last year or so, I decided to become a member and get this fired up.  Super excited to finally join.

I live in AZ and have a pretty nice career away from the tables, so my grinding time is actually less than my study time.

I've been playing poker since around 1998 in the days of Paradise and Party Poker.  I play much more live than online these days, and I sorely miss PokerStars and Full Tilt, but I still get a weekly grind session or two in online and actually have posted some pretty good results over the last few years.

But no matter what kind of volume I'm able to put in, my goal is to always be improving my game and staying ahead of my competition. 

I'm actively seeking to work on improving my hand reading and bet sizing skills at the moment and it's been a bit of a roller-coaster of late as I really work on trusting my reads and thereby incorporating some new and uncomfortable or deviation-type concepts into my game.  I've been pretty polarized between rediculously good results and kind of pwning table, to being like first-out spewtard guy…..so I'm really enjoying the growth right now.

Excited to be a part of TPE and hopefully I'll meet an AZ player or two on here to sweat from time-to-time.  WSOP and AZ State Championships are coming up and I'm looking foward to both.
