Hey guys, Chris here. I’m a 25 year old prior Marine attending VT on Uncle Sam’s dime. I have been around poker for a few years now but this is my first concerted “training” effort. My online scores include shipping the 50/50 on FT when I was 16(lol luckbox), and more recently shipping the 35k on Bovada twice, the 12,500 on Bovada twice, and a bunch of FT’s. One of the reasons I finally made the plunge is that I can consistently get into the top 27 of the 35k (on average every third day, last night 47th) but always seem to make some seemingly egregious error that costs me. My volume online in the last two to three months consists of the 11$ 10k, satellites to the 35k, the 60$ 35k, and the $11 10k(used to be the $12,500) on Bovada. Considering I essentially play three tournaments a day my results are acceptable. My live scores are chopping(for 1st) a nightly 135$ at the WSOPC Cherokee for $3500 and chopping(for 2nd) the $200 Delaware Poker Championship for $3,000 and 2nd in some promotional tournament at Bally’s in AC for 1800$. Those are my only three large-field live tournaments. Subtle Brag? I am trying to make a transition to playing more live poker for any number of reasons. I will be playing Events #1 and #3 at the WSOPC Cherokee this year and know most of you yahoos will be in attendance. I’m looking forward to meeting the gang. I’ve been listening to the TPE and Thinking Poker podcast for years and love them both. I’m glad to spend my money supporting a business model, nay, a community, like this one. #TPE Nation
