Hello everyone who is reading this post. I have been a member of TPE for a few months, but I have yet to post. I play on merge network as packalama at the moment. I have watched most of the videos on the site, read all of the articles, and browsed the forums quite extensively since I have subscribed. I appreciate all of the hard work and effort the pros have put into the site because it has vastly improved my game. I will start off with how I started playing poker.

I was introduced to poker in middle school and played a bit in high school, but it only peaked my interest until a year ago in my freshmen year at college. I played a home game with friends at college and had a blast. I tend to delve into my hobbies and soon began watching videos and reading books on how to improve my poker game. I applied the concepts I learned to my home game and they helped tremendously.

This spring, a few friends introduced me to online poker and I decided to play Sit N Goes. I soon found out that I still had a lot to learn. I was a break-even super small stakes Sit N Go player up until the middle of the summer when a friend of mine recommended subscribing to TPE. I decided to try it out and took a break from playing and watch instructional videos on TPE for a week. The week after, I immediately noticed the difference in my play and had relatively big scores the next four days ($200+) compared to the stakes I was playing.

Since then I have been grinding a few time a week. I have had decent success and improved my game every step of the way. I have never felt more confident in my game and hope to improve and move up stakes once I have built a large enough bankroll to move up to midstakes mtt's. Lately I have been trying to improve my early stage game by playing 25c/50c 6max and full ring cash games. I have also learned the importance of being good at HU after losing 5 HU battles for 1st in a row in mtt’s a month ago. I look forward to improving my HU game as I have heard it is the best way to improve your poker game as a whole.

Note: Anyone who looks me up on SharkScope should make sure to specify scheduled games because quite a lot of my volume has been Super Turbos. Super Turbos have greatly improved my short stack shoving ranges and I have been lucky enough to receive coaching from a ST pro I met online. I recommend trying ST’s for anyone who needs work on either their short stacking shoving ranges or bubble play.

TL;DR: TPE has helped me improve from a fish to a profitable player. I play small stakes mtt’s on merge network as packalama and I am looking to improve my game and increase my bankroll to play midstackes mtt’s.
