Hello TPE: So happy to be here and have access to all of the great material with the forums and videos.
Started playing on line poker about 2 years ago. Made a couple of false starts and then discovered Dan Harrington's great series on tournament poker and studied that before starting to play micro mtts. Deposited $250 and ran that up over $1,000 in the first year. Looking back I can't believe I did that playing freerolls and very low buy in tournies with huge fields and small prize pools. I played super TAG and didn't stray from the guidelines.
When I discovered larger buy ins with smaller fields it seemed much easier at first but in the second year (last year) I think I lost the discipline I had earlier and started treading water. When I stopped getting results I think I tightened up and got very nitty and also moving up a little in stakes things got tougher. Not as many fish waiting to spew off their chips.
Unfortunately I started to multi-table up to 10 tables which was too much for me and did it at the same time as I moved up in stakes so my results suffered.
Sort of starting again with fewer tables, have added a hud which I love, studying a lot and hopeful for a great 2014 with your help. Since I play evenings and weekends I will fire up 5 – 6 tables and hopefully wind down my sessions with 2 final tables side by side lol. Not more than that for a while.
Thank you for all of the wonderful videos. Putting in a lot of study time and starting to see the results. What a wonderful site
