Hi guys,

I love poker, been playing poker since i was 18, so about 3 years now, mostly just down at the free pub leagues, and just mucked around on stars, was down about $500 overall, without finding much time for large mtt's mostly a lack of time issue, so my experience is just about all in sng type games with short stacks and fast blind structures.

Taking poker more seriously of late, really wanting to get my game to the point where I can have a decent ROI for low stake sng and mtt's and hopefully build a bankroll to move up stakes. I am finishing my uni commerce degree over the next couple of year whilst working part time, and would love if I could mix in any form of income from poker, particularly watching a mate who is still 18 turn his local poker league skills (which were about the same as mine) to cashing in large tournys online, as well as winning the Shane Warne Deepstack $300 buy in tourny at Crown Casino Melbourne just a couple of weeks ago for over $20k, he has really motivated me.

Loved the podcasts, I think I listened to every single episode within a week or two of checking it out for the first time, I can't remember exactly what episode it was, but they were talking to a pro about what he did to improve, and he emphasised the need to be a part of a community. After hearing all the amazing discussions on the podcast, and scoping the site out, I knew this was the place I wanted to be.

My stars balance sits at around $170, which still leaves me at around -$300 overall. So my aim is to watch, discuss and learn everything I possible can from TPE, get my overall earnings into the positives, and build a bankroll which will allow me to move up from $2.50 180man sngs.

Do you guys think relying on $2.50 sngs is the best thing for me to be playing with those goals in mind? They are very shallow and have a lot of variance as i'm sure you guys all know.

Tonight for the first time ever I saw a little green tip……. On the end of my sharkscope graph you sickos!

Just like to thank TPE for how much you’ve helped me improve already from your podcasts and the few videos I have gotten around to watching yet, particularly hitthepanda’s videos on crushing small stake sng’s, just shipped another one tonight, even though at one stage i had 400 chips at 1000/2000/200!
