Hi TPE Members,

This is the first poker site I’ve joined since I started playing poker and am looking forward to using the forums, videos, and TPE members/pros to help grow my game.

By way of introduction, I’m 24 and work in Finance in NYC. Im from NJ so I like to make the occasional trip to AC but working full-time makes it a little tougher to get there consistently. I have a few home games I can play in the city and also occasionally play online from NJ at the micro stakes (.05/.10 and .10/.25).

I have only been playing poker for the last 3 years after my college roommate got me hooked by loaning me a few poker books and organizing some home games. Since then I’ve tried to consistently grow my game by reading and rereading different strategy books starting with the Harrington on Hold-em series and most recently a little Ed Miller.

Also a big shoutout to the Thinking Poker Podcast which hammered me with enough TPE ads for me to finally give it a shot.

I’ll cut it off there but i’m looking forward to using TPE and hearing from the other members. 

Also if I have a hand I’d like to discuss, should I post it here or is there a specific forum for that?
