Hi everyone,

I've been a member here a couple of times over the past year or so, but finally got round to posting on the forums. I've been playing semi-professionally for around four years now while working in online marketing, and I stepped things up a little by playing full time for ten weeks before travelling last year for 6 months. Now I'm back in the UK, I'm playing to get myself back on my feet financially and to put together some £££ to start my own business or to get me going in London again if I have to get a job (tbc!).

I play a range of MTTs across Stars, FTP, 888 and Winamax, and I've been gravitating towards the latter of late due since FTP became a reg fest. I first build my roll playing 6max SNGs about 5 years ago while at uni and then really kicked on when Rush poker first hit. Back in those days, you could raise every hand on the money/ft bubbles and take down 80% of them…how I miss them :).

Anyway, since I spent my old roll on Fijian cocktails and following the England cricket team around Australia (as they narrowly lost the Ashes 5-0), I'm now working my way back out of $2-$11 tournaments with the goal of playing $26s again within a month. TPE has really helped sharpen up my thinking, and in particular I've enjoyed series from Andrew Brokos and theginger45.

Thanks for reading, and hopefully I'll see you all around the forums

Cheers,

Pete

Good luck running your roll back up!

Haha thanks mate.

Well, the Ashes weren't quite how I'd dreamt them, but as I said to my mates, there aren't many better places to watch your team lose! Loved the MCG, Adelaide Oval and SCG, and was lucky enough to get out onto the Great Barrier Reef a few times. Awesome country!
