Hi Guys, just joined the forum and wanted to introduce myself. I am on this site because I have one goal only right now and that is to win an MTT with a buy in over $100 and a field of over 200 people and after listening to the Thinking Poker podcast I am convinced that Andrew and crew here at TPE can help me accomplish that.  I started playing back around 2003-04 and played mostly online with live games thrown in from time to time. I always played but never took the time to devote to off table studying other than doing some tracking of my results on poker tracker.  I played for about 8 years and eventually just ran out of motivation to continue playing with results always being small wins, small losses or break even. I am back now however with a much better frame of mind and a devotion to do whatever it takes to achieve the first goal I have set for myself. 

I am mid 40’s, married, work full time but don’t have children so I have free time to put towards studying and learning the game at an in depth level.  I am in a part of Michigan where the closest casino is about 1 hour and 15 minutes away so I can’t play tournaments all the time but I am planning on doing more traveling for tournaments and want to start getting involved in circuit events and some of the regional tournament series like HPT and MSPT.  I am looking forward to getting started and getting feedback thru the forums on my posts and how my current line of thinking is for the different aspects of tournament play.
