Hello,
I’m 35 male from Poland working as financial controller in a big company. I have beautiful wife and great 2 year old boy.
I’ve been playing poker for 3 years now – 1,5 year of online poker and I joined TPE 1 week ago. Poker is fun for me so treating it as fun I did not feel like reading any books about it – I’d rather watch some training videos, read some online articles on poker and analysed my play in order to improve my game. I love competition and always loved card games, sport, computer games. Now I find MTT as great way to compete with others – cash games are boring to me. I have most fun when I beat all the field in 100+ players MTTs and SNGs. I have been playing mainly 2,50$ sng 180 turbos last year but moved to low stakes MTTs beginning of this year – I was tired of that “shove or fold” sng turbo stuff and no room for post-flop play.
My problem was/is that I managed to get to the late stages of tournaments but did it being low on chips. I have already found TPE videos extremly useful and I start to get the feeling when I should take the risks throughout the tournament (double-up or get knocked out) in order to keep decent stack. I have really enjoyed bigdog’s SM videos and Andrew Brokos videos and I know that there are so many other video series on TPE that I can contribute from – feeling excited about watching those videos and learning from it.
Good luck
