Hi everybody,
I have just joined, intending to imnprove my skills at MTTs. I first played poker in about 2004-5, mostly µlimit holdem and the odd MTT. After that I played very occasionally – like once a year, then started playing regularly again in January this year. I've been grinding my way up the cash limits from 2NL and am now at 10NL and playing the odd MTT. Now I want to focus on improving my MTT skills and playing them more. So I've joined this site. Hopefully I am in the right place.
Also I see a lot of change has happened between my first playing and my coming back to it.
on MTTs, I've read Harrington's books, Kill Everyon/Raiser's Edge, and Jonathan Little's “Secrets of..” books. All of which are a good and useful, but I need to get practice in and good feedback from people who are actually succeeding in online MTTs. Also, I think it is important to be current. I can see a lot has changed between when I first played and recent times.
Please tell me I've come to the right place! I like the wealth of video material available. Where to start, wow!
Logically I think Early stages strategy – because after all if you don't get that down you wont reach the later stages ibn any sort of decent state.
