Hey folks just a quick intro post to make myself known. This is actually my first post on any poker forum. I am a 32 year old Irish guy. I have been playing for years casually. I first played on paradise poker and had absolutely no clue about poker, and you can tell how that ended. I played a fair few love events locally and satellites into the Irish open a few tImes, usually busting on day two.

I moved to Australia for three years and satellited into ye Aussie millions twice, once on stars and the other live. Both ended up with similar results of making day two then busting. The second time also included getting pwned by both jp kelly and patrick antonious.

All the while I wasn’t taking it very seriously and thinking I wa just unlucky, weree really I hadn’t learned the game at all and was just scraping by playing big standard abc poker.
Online I was playing infrequently and single table on way too high stakes.

So at the start of this year I decided to actually try and learn the game properly and do some proper study, that’s why I am here.

I have had only one months membership but I have had three final tables (low/mid stakes) in the last 2 months online. This is a massive improvement for me!

I am currently at the airport to go to England for the UKIPT Nottingham. (qualified on stars)This will be my first major tournament since I joined do I thought it would be a good time to post.
