Hello everyone, my name is Helen and I have been binge listening to your podcasts… and love it!!!

I am for sure a recreational player but want to be a good one…

I have a question: do players keep a separate bank roll or budget for tournament play and cash games?

Curious..

P.S. I want to visit your TPE house next year during the main event and eat hot dogs – sounds disgusting but appealing at the same time… And I am a woman but NOT doing anyone's laundry even I think you guys are great…

Hi Helen, welcome

I keep just 1 bankroll, generally only play tourneys that eat up 2-3% of my roll and never bring more than 5% to a cash table, my cash session is over when i have over 10% of my total roll on the table in front of me, small guide lines i try to follow but trust me i can break my own rules from time to time.

Actually can I ask something? Forgive me if I am mistaken, I know you guys have just put out a huge podcast, and I know they are free… but I also have just binge-listened (twice) to the whole catalogue. I may be mistaken, and honestly it possibly would take minimal effort on my part to check all the dates, but are these still a regular feature? I for one absolutely love these things. As a long distance trucker I have you guys keeping me company sometimes all day long. Even if it is the same core of guys…it makes no difference to me whatsoever. I just love to listen to you analyze hands. And Mark Alioto, on the last podcast? I listened to him before and always knew he had good insight, but he had me hanging on his every word last time around.

Forgive me if I am mistaken… I only discovered these things about 3 months ago, so for all I know they are still regular as ever. Peace.

I can assure you that the TPE strategy podcast will be returning to more of a regular routine and we are scheduled to do the next one Aug 26/2015 with an amazing guest!

lol the fish reference (guppy or flounder) is based on the amounts of posts you have completed.

yes, more podcasts to come. There are actually four different podcasts (Midstakes Living, TPE Live, Chirp Herm Show and the TPE Podcast) and some are more regular than others. But we do try and get them out as often as possible, but it can sometimes be challenging to find the time with everythying else that we have to get done for the site. We'll continue to try and do better!
