Howdy howdy howdy “TPE Nation” (I got that bit already!! )…..

Just wanted to introduce myself as I'm the Noob round here…. although after Big Dogs recent success I'm sure there's been an increase in the “field size”.

Have been listening to the podcasts for about a year, and totally love em, for some reason I just didn't pull my finger out and jump in to the nation…. laziness probs… hey I am a poker player!!!

Been playing pretty much full time since about 2008 when I was lucky enough to be able to give up working from my property investments. Started off mainly live and pretty much lived at my local club in South London for about 3 years. Had the odd dabble in to online during that period, but it wasn't until I moced in to my “poker house” with 2 buddies that my online game became a bigger part of my life. Unfortunately that housing situation came to an end after about 14 months and I left London and moved in with my new gf, back in my home town in Peterborough. This was really tough on my poker, as I didn't have any live club to go to like in London and was without the poker buddies on hand to talk strat with.

This new situation forced me to start playing online more and try and find other avenues for my poker input/education. Never really was much a fan of 2+2….. it was almost too big and I felt lost on there, so never felt comfortable posting anything. Although I love their podcasts, never mis an episode. Then a friend told me about the TPE podcasts as I was saying hwo I wanted more MTT specific content. Once I heard them I was hooked…. they are the only podcasts that I hav ein my itunes that don't get deleted as I find value in re-listening to them on car journies and at the live poker table.

While I do play live cash from time to time, I feel much more at home and enjoy MTT's. I mainly play £50-£500 buy in live and online I am now sponsored by a staking site to play low stakes MTT's. I only get $300p/d, but that should be going up as I'm profitable for them already.

My best achievements in poker have to be:

– Winning a WSOP ME Package for $13k in 2010

– 7th in a mini-FTOP for $4k

– 1st in an $11r on PS for $4k

I'm hoping to get really involved in the TPE community. I've never been a person for not giving my perspective on something…. but please don't shoot me down too hard when I say soemthing utterly foolish…. actually screw that… GIVE IT TO ME BOTH BARRELLS… I probably deserved it and I've got thick skin!!!
