Well I have posted some already and though it was time to at least introduce myself. Im Jason AKA Jdog1645, Im 38 with a wife and two children ages 10 and 11. I have lived in Virginia my entire life, American by birth southern by the grace of God 🙂   I served in the US Army during Desert Storm I and am currently a police officer and have been for 14 years. I taught Kenpo Karate for several years and hold a blackbelt in that art. I also fought in some amateur MMA fights and have experience in kick boxing and grappling.  I play the drums and listen to just about any kind of music that I can relate to. I have an X-box and Wii along with 4 computers in my house so I am some what of a nerd but played every sport known to man (I was scouted by the Mets farm team in high school) and was an avid powerlifter in my early 20s. I also enjoy hunting and fishing….its a southern thing.

I saw Moneymaker in 04 and have been playing poker on and off since then. On several occasions I took a couple hundred dollars and built it up to several thousand playing SnGs and cash games. Like many times before I would tilt it off playing cash. I have decided I need to stay away from cash games for the most part and try to focus on MMT structures.  I think its better for my tilt factor. I have been a member of several  online training sites that focused mainly on cash games. My tournament game is way behind my knowledge of cash so I have to do a lot of retraining on what I need to do in certain situations. I never hope to quit my day job and become a pro. My goal is just make enough money from poker to pay for things around the house, take some trips and buy cool toys for my family. With that being said that doesnt make me any less dedicated to turning my game into the best that it can be for me. I have been a member now for less than a week and have watched almost all the vids on the site. I plan to rewatch them and take notes now, its a police thing 🙂

What I would like to get from the site is not only valuable information but a chance to make some new friends along the way and share some knowledge whether it be about poker or the law or whatever you guys wanna discuss.  I just like to know that Im not the only one out there in the sea of struggling players trying to find their way. The cyber world can be a cold place but only if you let it. So if anyone want to talk about the weather or why our government is epic fail atm just give me a shout Cool
