Hey guys,

Not sure how this goes, but here I am. Started playing poker recreationally years ago and still am. Was present the forefront of the Poker Boom in Portugal and once I dreamt I could live off it.

Nowadays I have no intention of taking Poker Professionally, I do far too well at my day job and actually enjoy it alot. Once in a while I deposit a few hundred bucks on Pokerstars, play a few tourneys and when I do get what is a big win for me (1K+) I usually take the money and invest it with my family. Being a nice weeked out or just ramping up our savings accounts.

Played a few live tourneys in my life (at my local casino) and cashed most of them.

Having said that, overall (online mostly) I am a break even player in NLHE, even though sometimes I take out a few thousand bucks, I lose the deposits I make far too often because I have no intention of Bankroll Managing. I do have a 118% ROI on PLO (over 230 Tourneys). But because the games are much juicier (more money) in NLHE. I want to be the best I can at it a so I subscribed to TPE.

Also, my day job has gotten me to move to Macau. I´ve played a few cash games here (2/5) and also a couple of daily tournaments around and I feel the fields are really soft even for an online breakeven like myself. I am actually up quite alot here at these stakes.

So basically, I just want to be the best I can at my hobby. Poker is just like Golf for me. I love it and I want to be able to stand my ground against the best.

After watching a few videos and honestly analyzing my game, I find I lack the discipline in late game. I have an 18% ITM percentage which I find good. I make alot of deep runs but no wins. It is not uncommon for me to final table bubble or go out in 7th to 9th independent of my chip stack. I just can´t discern when to stop the agression and until now, never cared about ICM considerations until we are 5 man because although the pay jumps are great, the absolute winnings are only interesting 3rd+ at my stakes.

Just this week I went out 10th at Nightly 55$ (after chipleading up to 11 players left) and 9th at the Big 8.80% (after chipleading up to 14 players left). Also bluffed off my chiplead at the 1r 3x-turbo when we were 30 left. So I am just looking for tips on how to pick your spots and play the big stack.

Hope it was not too long, but it is my effort of participating in the community.

Best luck to all, hope to see you at the tables.
