I have been playing for years, micro stakes, building up what some would call a starting roll and then withdrawing it. Recently took a break for over a year, came back, played in a $4 promising my mate that if I made the final table I would play in that big 8 million, got 2nd !!! which was nice as it all but paid for my 8 million ticket.  First time I have ever played in anything like that, it was a treat, just a treat, as I can not really play live.

I have used training sites before, but never really thought it was possible to do much except improve a bit.

Now I am wondering…

If I really really study hard, work hard at my game, would it actually be possible to make it all the way?

Well I guess we will find out, because I intend to work my socks off for the next few years, seeing what is really possible, starting right at the very very bottom (damn freerolls are generous these days).  TPE of course rocks, runs on linux, runs on plex to my Roku so when I am laid up I can still watch.  Lots to read, lots to listen to, lots to post, no excuses, no more excuses, just learn learn learn.

Oh, and 45, from UK, walks with a stoop.

Thanks KillingBird,

OK I watched the 109r dual pro vids,  learned a little, mainly never to enter it as it is a very hard mtt to win. That final table, jeez!

Watched the 1st video of Expert Level Hand History Analysis, I think I know most of these basics of analysis but am very jealous of having a hud in a replayer ( nothing like that on linux, but I can still grab stats and replay in universal )…

And then, the second video in that series, goodness that is awsome.  I hope for anyone reading this who did not bother after the first video they go back and try the second.  It is gold dust. Had to stop it after 8 mins in, thought “I am going to need my pen and paper here!” as there was just too much good info for my brain to digest.

For anyone reading, who gets a little bit lost when to double barrel bluff, these are the videos for you.

Well something rubbed off because I just won a 10,000 seater.

Shame it was the poker school open league with a first prize of only $5.59

Hopefully the first of many wins while here, and hopefully others will be bigger 🙂 although for now 1/10000 is a sick brag for me. 🙂
