Hi everyone,
I just subscrided to TPE and I’m proud to finally become part of this amazing community. As you guys red in the topic title I’m from Italy so I play on pokerstars.it (since we are not allowed by some silly laws to play on the .com sites). I’m a middle stakes Mtt’s player who really wants to improve his game, and a great way of doing it It’s confronting myself with other players that may have a different point of view than mine, so feel free to hit me up even just to see how we donkeys play in Italy =D
Last thing do you guys have any advice for a newbie like me ?

welcome aboard!
My first piece of advice, which you have already taken, is to hit the forums. Make sure and spend some time in the strat section. A lot of good members here with some really good minds for poker who can give you advice on specific hands/spots and get you thinking about poker in new ways.
Find a pro you like and spent some time with their vids, but don't limit yourself to just one pro or just one style of video. Not every video will be to your likeing, but there is a little something to take from ALL of them!

Hi ttwist, well if we talk about mtt's the global level is getting a lot better (unfortunatly), there is still room to make a decent profit but the number of regs increased drastically in the past 2 yearsso that's why everybody here wants to get on the .com's sites but compared to stars.com (i've never played there but i talked to some italian poker pros ,that moved to Malta, Slovenia or to the UK to be able to play on the .com) and i think we are more on the conservatives side pre flop, so it would take us some time adjusting the wider ranges and to the higher level of aggression even though i think it's more of a problem in the HS games so i really dont know what would change for a small-middle stakes player…Oh and now that i think about it I think there is more varience on the .com due to the higher number of players in the big sundays tournaments (we have lower prizepools than you guys)
