I'm a recreational player from the UK who's had some success and reasonable profit, however I've been on a bit of a downswing since October 2012, which I need to arrest.

None of my mates have more than a passing interest in poker, so I have nobody to turn to when I want to discuss a specific hand or situation in poker.  That's what I hope to use this site for – to post hand histories and get people's thoughts.

I watched the free videos and thought they were great, so i'm hoping to catch up and watch all the training videos.  I especially liked DannyN13's video, but i'm also wanting to watch all Big Dogs and betudontbet's.

I have never used a training site or training vidoes before and I also never use any software like HM or pokerstove etc, so maybe i'll learn someting about them too.  I do try and keep good player notes though.

I'm really hoping that if I can commit a few hours a week to training and not playing it will make a difference with my results.

Also, I don't play cash poker as I just find it dull.
