Hey everyone,

I am an ex cash game grinder and played mostly 200nl 6max on stars. Stopped playing for a while (too busy with work/family) but have a bit more time to myself now and am starting to take MTT's more seriously.

I feel like I am a spewy TAG with 20-40bb's (post antes) and really want to work hard on this part of my game.

What videos do you recommend to start with?

Depends on your stakes and fields, but I do recommend DannyN13 and bigdogpckt5s videos, definitly two different styles that incorporate several winning elements that you can apply to improve your game. Other than that the recent HM manager tutorial is gold, but you need to have a decent sample to apply it to before it's useful. Also the forum is a great resource, so don't hesitate to post hands or whatever 🙂

I will check those vids out – thanks!

I am playing anything from $3 to $33 with mostly big fields. I only get to play when daughters have gone to bed so I just register whatever is going on stars for an hour or so.

If you where beating the 200NL games you should do very good in those fields, adjusting your betsizes for smaller stacks (smaller opens and smaller c-bets and smaller everything) and properly adjust to tighter fullring ranges. The stars games (i also play them) have LOADS of regs, many of them arent good, but some are, but these fields also have loads of fish, so identifiyng where the easy chips are sitting is golden. You also definitly need to invest serious time in learning how to play shortstack tho, it's a HUGE leak in loads of cashgame converts and should not be taken too lightly.
