I'm Roger and i live in Manchester, England. I am a full time Gardener for the council and Retained Fire Fighter. I have played semi professional rugby for the last 13 years and still enjoy playing today.
I have  Been playing poker on and off for around 10 years at an extremely amateurish level. I have played online poker mainly for fun over the years but never at all seriously.  In December last year i managed to satellite into the £1100 Sky poker UKPC for £2.60. This was by far my biggest score and attending was a real eye opener . I busted out after 4 hours on day one but was left with a feeling of hunger to get as good as these guys who had just wiped the floor with me. 
At 30 i now feel like I am coming to the end of my rugby career (if you can call it that) so I'm looking for another competitive arena that doesn't involve getting my head stamped on every Saturday and maybe make a bit of money along the way.
Really excited after listening to all the TPE, Mid stakes living and thinking poker podcast's too finally getting stuck into the site i have heard so much about 🙂
